Opensea, an NFT trading platform, has announced in a blog post that it will build an NFT marketplace in Solana. It will support the Metaplex collection standard at launch to build an NFT "collection" format in Solana. According to Opensea, existing Solana NFT projects will need to use specific tools to migrate the project to the latest version of the aforementioned standard, and the NFT list will eventually be automatically listed on OpenSea.

This means that Solana will become the fourth blockchain network supported by OpenSea, following Ethereum, Polygon and Klaytn. Aurory, Portals, Infinity Labs, Jungle Cats and many other Solana projects have announced on Twitter that they are launching Opensea.
